About Company:
The Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme, (IDSP), launched by Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOHFW) in November 2004, is a decentralized, State based Surveillance Program intended to detect early warning signals of impending outbreaks and help initiate an effective and timely response. IDSP is recruiting 766 technical consultants for staffing its District and State positions. Applications from eligible candidates are being invited for these posts by the National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) New Delhi, (A Technical Support Organization of the Ministry of Health and family Welfare (MOH&FW), Government  of India).

Qualification: M. Sc. (Zoology) with Entomology as one of the subjects

Name of the Post: Consultant Microbiologist

Scale of Pay: Those with Medical Graduation- Rs. 25,000/-40,000/-, Those with Other Qualifications Rs. 15,000/-25,000/-
Qualification: 1 – Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (preferably in Microbiology, Virology, Pathology and other lab sciences), 2 – Medical Graduate with 2 years experience in laboratory sciences , 3 – MSc in Medical Microbiology

Name of the Post: Consultant Epidemiologist
No. of Vacancy: 1 each at 35 state HQs
Scale of Pay: Rs. 25,000/- 40,000/-
Qualification: 1 – Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (preferably in Epidemiology or Public Health such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE, PhD etc), 2 – Medical Graduate with 2 years experience in Epidemiology, 3 – Post Graduate in Field of Life Sciences, Social Sciences or Statistics related to Public Health with 2 years experience in Field Epidemiology

Name of the Post: Consultant Microbiologist
No. of Vacancy: 1 each at 50 district level priority labs
Scale of Pay: Those with Medical Graduation- Rs. 25,000/-40,000/-, Those with Other Qualifications Rs. 15,000/-25,000/-

2 – Medical Graduate with 2 years experience in Epidemiology
3 – Post Graduate in Field of Life Sciences, Social Sciences or Statistics related to Public Health with an MPH or equivalent
4 – Medical Graduate with right aptitude who may be provided two weeks Field Epidemiology Training
5 – Post Graduate in Field of Life Sciences, Social Sciences or Statistics related to Public Health with 2 years experience in Field Epidemiology
