Qualification: Master’s Degree in Meteorology/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Oceanography/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics with FIRST CLASS with 65% aggregate marks or above from a recognized university/institution.

Scale of Pay: For 1st year Rs.16000/- (Consolidated) p.m. for 2nd year Rs.17000 (Consolidated) p.m. and for 3rd year Rs.18000/- (Consolidated) p.m  + HRA as applicable
Qualification: First Class with 65% marks or above in M.Sc. Physics and PhD in the area of Physics / Atmospheric Sciences / Meteorology / Radio Science / Ionosphere Physics and Space Physics.  Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in the areas of
a) Application of Radars/Lidars to Atmospheric Sciences
b) Weather and climate modeling

Name of the Post: JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

Scale of Pay: For 1st & 2nd year Rs.12000/- (Consolidated) p.m. & for the subsequent years Rs.14000/- (Consolidated) p.m. + HRA as applicable.
Qualification: First Class M.Sc. in Physics/Mathematics/ Atmospheric Science/Atmospheric Physics / Space Physics /Meteorology with 65% marks or above or M.Tech in Atmospheric Science /Space Technology with 60% marks or above.
