National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, NCRA. Tata Institute of Fundmental Research, TIFR. It has set up and operates the world’s largest radio telescope at metre wavelengths, the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT). GMRT is located at Khodad, near Narayangaon, about 80 km north of Pune. For details visit  http://www.ncra.tifr.res.in. NCRA is on the lookout for suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

A. Engineer-D : 01 post (UR), Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 GP Rs.6600, Qualification : First Class BE (Electronics, Telecommunication or Instrumentation) from a recognized university. Experience : At least 6 years in a reputed organisation, of which 3 years in a supervisory position. , Age: Below 35 years.
B. Engineer-D : 01 post (UR), Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 GP Rs.6600, Qualification : First Class BE (Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation or Computers), Experience : At least 4 years or First Class ME / M.Tech with 2 years experience in a reputed organisation. Job description: Digital / Computing / Software., Age: Below 33 years.
C. Engineer-C (Mechanical) : 01 posts (OBC), Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 GP Rs.5400, Qualification : First Class BE (Mech) from a recognized university. Experience : At least 2 years in erection, welding and maintenance of hydraulic equipment and general machinery. Age: Below 31 years.
D. Engineer-C : 03 posts (UR), Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 GP Rs.5400, Qualification : First Class BE (Electronics, Telecommunication or Instrumentation) from a recognized university, Experience : 2 years in a reputed organisation. Exceptional candidates with 1-year experience will also be considered, Age: below 31 for OBC and 28 for UR.
E. Engineer-C : 03 posts (UR), Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 GP Rs.5400, Qualification : EQ: First Class BE (Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical, Instrumentation or Computers), Age: below 26 years.
TME: Total Monthly Emoluments, reflects Pay+GP+DA (presently 16%), HRA and Transport Allowance payable at appropriate rates. PB: Pay Band. GP: Grade Pay. EQ: Educational Qualifications; FTA: Fixed Term Appointment. Exp.: Experience. PH: Physically handicapped. HH: Hearing Handicap.
