Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, HPPSC, Applications are invited from the citizens of India on prescribed OMR application form for the following vacancies to be filled on the basis of Himachal Pradesh Forest Service (Assistant Conservator of Forest) Examination, 2010. The details of the posts is as under:-
 
Assistant Conservator of Forest Class-I, Gazetted :
No of Post : 05 posts (Gen.-02, Ex-Serviceman of H.P.-03)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Science or Engineering of any recognised University or its equivalent with atleast one of the following subjects:- Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Application/Science, Engineering (Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical), Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science,
Zoology.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 7220 to 11660/-(Pre-revised).
Age Limit : Between 21 to 34 years age of a candidate shall be reckoned as on 01.01.2010.

How to apply for above post :
Firmly affix one recent high contrast passport size, preferably black and white, photograph Polaroid photos are not acceptable. Application send To the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, office to the Secretary, HPPSC, Nigam Vihar, Shimla – 171002, Himachal Pradesh, on or before 01-05-2010. Fees : Bank draft in favour of Secretary, H.P. Public Service Commission for Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty)only, Rs. 63/- (Rupees sixty three for SC/ST/)OBC of H.P.)only, payable at Shimla, must accompany the applications and send to the Secretary, HPPSC, Nigam Vihar, Shimla-171002 (HP). Ex-Servicemen unless discharged at their own request before completion of normal tenure and visually impaired candidates of H.P. are exempted from payment of application fee.

Last Date of Application Submission : 01-05-2010. For flang Remote area the last is 15-05-2010.
