Employee’s State Insurance Corporation, ESIC, Applications, in the prescribed format are invited to fill up following vacancies in the cadre of Stenographer, Lower Division Clerks and Peon in the ESI Corporation, Punjab.
I. Lower Division Clerks (LDC) :
No of Post : 25 posts (UR-15, SC-5, OBC-5),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Age Limit:- Between 18 to 27 years as on 14.09.2010.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Higher Secondary Pass (Pass in 12th Standard) or equivalent from a recognized Board. ii) Working knowledge of computer including use of Office suites and data base with typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi.
II. Stenographers :
No of Post : 05 posts (UR-2, SC-2, OBC-1),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Age Limit:- Between 18 to 27 years as on 14.09.2010.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Higher Secondary Pass (Pass in 12th standard) or equivalent from a recognized Board. ii) Speed of 80 w.p.m. in Stenography ( English / Hindi) iii) Working knowledge of computer including Office Suites and database.
III. Peon :
No of Post : 24 posts (UR-10, SC-10, OBC-4),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- per month.
Age Limit:- Between 18 to 27 years as on 14.09.2010.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 10th Standard Pass with English from a recognized educational Institution under the 10+2 system.

Fees : Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque of Rs.200/- for the post of Steno and LDC and Rs.100/- for the post of Peon to be drawn on the State Bank of India in favour of Regional Director, ESI Corporation, Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh. (ST/ST/Ex.SM/Women/PH candidates are exempted from fee).
