Indian Coast Guard, ICG, an Armed Force of the Union, offers you a challenging and inspiring career as a Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer in the pay scale for Assistant Commandant at Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 5400/- Registration and Preliminary Selection will be carried out on the spot at Mumbai, Chennai Kolkata and Noida for the the following posts Assistant Commandant General Duty, Pilot & Navigator/Observer, Technical Mechanical/Electrical, Short Service Commission, Commercial Pilot License holders, General Duty Women, Law Men.

1. Assistant Commandant General Duty Men :
No of post : As per Pannel.
Age Limit : 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive)
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- PM.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Should hold a Bachelor’s degree of recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Maths and Physics as subject up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education with 60% aggregate marks of both subjects.

2. Assistant Commandant Pilot & Navigator/Observer :
No of post : As per Pannel.
Age Limit : 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive)
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- PM.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Should hold a Bachelor’s degree of recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Maths and Physics as subject up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education with 60% aggregate marks of both subjects.

3. Assistant Commandant Technical branch (Mechanical and Electrical) :
No of post : As per Pannel.
Age Limit : 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive)
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Grade Pay Rs. 7600/- PM.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Engineering degree with 60% marks in aggregate or should have passed Sections A and B examination from the Institution of Engineers (India) in any of the discipline listed below with 60% marks. (a) Engineering Branch Naval architecture/ Mechanical/ Marine/ Automotive/ Mechatronics/ Industrial and Production/ Metallurgy/ Aeronautical/ Aerospace. (b) Electrical Branch Electrical/ Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engg. or Power Electronics.

4. Assistant Commandant Pilots (Helicopter and fixed wing) Commercial Pilot License holders :
No of post : As per Pannel.
Age Limit : 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1996 (both dates inclusive)
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- PM.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Aggregate 60% marks in 12th standard also 60% aggregate marks of both Mathematics and Physics subjects. Should possess current / valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) approved by DGCA on the date of Preliminary Selection.

5. Assistant Commandant General Duty (Women) :
No of post : As per Pannel.
Age Limit : 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive)
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Grade Pay Rs. 8900/- PM.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Should hold a Bachelor’s degree of recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Mathematics and Physics as subject up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education with 60% aggregate marks of both subjects.

6. Assistant Commandant Law Men :
No of post : As per Pannel.
Age Limit : 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive)
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Grade Pay Rs. 8700/- PM.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Degree in Law with minimum 60 % marks. (Three years degree in Law after graduation) or (Five years after 10+2 examination)
