Age Limit : Below 35 years (Relaxable on the recommendation of the selection committee)
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9,300 to 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s of Music or its equivalent Degree in Tabla / Pakhwaj from any recognized University / Institution. Or A professional or a traditional artist with a highly commendable professional achievement in the concerned field. At least three years experience in accompaniment in Tabla, Pakhawaj & Khole with both classical music and Rabindra Sangit including in Nritya Natya and Geeti – Natya.

Note : Candidates already in employment in government or government owned/funded body must apply through proper channel or produce ‘ No objection Certificate’ at the time of interview.

Fees/Application Fee:
Demand Draft (DD) for Rs. 300/- should be submitted along with the application from as nonrefundable application processing charges. Candidates of SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted from paying application processing charges. Demand DRAFT SHOULD BE drawn on State Bank of India, Santiniketan Branch (2121) in favour of Account Officer, Visva- Bharati.
