Translational Health Science Technology Institute, THSTI, (An Autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India) 496, Udyog Vihar Phase III, Gurgaon – 122016.

Translational Health Science Technology Institute (THSTI), tenable till September 2013, with possible extension beyond depending on program review, with the mandate to study (a) human perinatal biology; (b) maternal, fetal and neonatal infections; (C) nutritional biology and (d) other childhood illness. The work envisaged is multi-disciplinary in nature. Search for scientific, clinical, administrative and technical staff is in progress. This advertisement is to search for people who are enthusiastic, motivated and willing to engage in institution building.
 
1. Scientist E (Clinical/non-clinical/statistical investigator) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD (Paediatrics) with at least 8 years of academic or work experience post MD including atleast 7 years experience in clinical or population research OR MD (Paediatrics) and MPH (Epidemiology) with at least 6 (if MPH is 5 years) to 7 years ( if MPH is 1 year) of academic or work experience post MPH including at least 6 years experience in clinical or population research. DESIRABLE: Previous experience of supervising clinical or population studies for at least 5 years. Previous experience of working at the interface of health sciences and technology.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37,500 to 67,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 8,700/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 55 years.

2. Scientist D / Assistant professor(Clinical/ non-clinical investigators) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD (Paediatrics) with at least 5 years of academic or work experience post MD including atleast 4 years experience in clinical or population research OR MD (Paediatrics) and MPH (Epidemiology) with at least 3 (if MPH is 2 years) to 4 years ( if MPH is 1 year) of academic or work experience post MPH including at least 3 years experience in clinical or population research.
DESIRABLE: Previous experience of supervising clinical or population studies for at least 03 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600 to 39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7,600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 50 years.

3. Scientist C (Clinical/ non-clinical) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD (Paediatrics) with at least 3 years of academic or work experience post MD including atleast 1 year experience in clinical or population research OR MD (Paediatrics) and MPH (Epidemiology) with at least 1 (if MPH is 2 years) to 2 years ( if MPH is 1 year) of academic or work experience post MPH including at least 1 years experience in clinical or population research.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600 to 39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years.

4. Accounts Officer :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with SAS/CA/ICWA and minimum 5/7 years experience as Pay and Accounts Officer/Account Officer/Head of Finance and Account Division respectively. In the grade of Rs. 15,600-39,100 with GP of Rs. 5400/- Rs. 9300-34800 with GP of Rs. 4600/- or equivalent in term of responsibility and experience.
DESIRABLE: Knowledge of Govt. rules and regulations and Computer Applications.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600 to 39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years.
