Name of the Post: Accounts Officer in Class III
No. of Vacancy: 31 (including 12 Carried Forward vacancies)
Scale of Pay: Rs.8,000-275-13,500/-per mensem.
Qualification: Candidates should possess the following or its equivalent qualification on the date of this Notification viz. 09-01-2009: Must have passed the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants/ Cost Accountants.

How to apply for above post:
Candidates can also avail of the facility of applying Online on the Commission’s Website at www.tnpsc.gov.in. Candidates applying Online should possess and keep ready Postal Receipt for Rs.155/- (i.e. Application fee Rs.30/- and Examination fee Rs.125/-) obtained from any one of the Post Offices listed 1in Annexure-III of the Information Brochure before registering Online. Candidates claiming exemption from payment of Examination fee should possess and keep ready Postal receipt for Rs.30/- towards the application fee. The Postal Receipt obtained for the payment of Application Fee/ Examination Fee should be pasted in the space provided in the application. Candidates applying Online shall also abide by the Commission’s instructions laid down in this
Notification / Advertisement/Commission’s ‘Instructions, etc. to candidates’ / Information Brochure. Candidates applying Online should send their application (i.e. The printout generated from the web site and signed by the candidate) with the Postal Receipt along with attested copies of Certificates so as to reach the Commission’s office on or before the last date for receipt of applications, failing which his/her application will be rejected. The facility of applying Online will be closed on 09-02- 2009 at 5.45.p.m.

The candidates can register their particulars online till 5.45 P.M. on 09.02.2009. They will have to generate the printout of the filled-up application form by clicking ‘YES, Generate Online Application Form’ button, paste one recent passport size photograph, affix the Postal Receipt towards the Examination Fee and Application Fee, affix the signature and send it to the Commission’s Office on or before 11.02.2009 – 5.45 P.M.
