Indian Institute of Technolgy Patna, IIT, The Institute is in search for suitable Indian Nationals for appointment on regular/ deputation/ contract basis for 5 years likely to be confirmed, subject to note worthy performance on the following posts: Executive Engineer (Civil), Scientific Officer, Assistant Registrar, Security Officer, Jr. Technical Superintendent, Junior Engineer (Civil), Jr. Superintendent, Physical Training Instructor, PS to Director, Sr. Accountant, Jr. Assistant, Jr. Mechanic, Jr. Attendant

1. Executive Engineer (Civil) :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 15,600 to 39,1006/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/ University.

2. Scientific Officer :
No of post : 04 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 15,600 to 39,1006/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in Physics/ Material Scince/B.Tech(Engineering Physics)/ Equivalent with first class from a recognised institute/ university of repute with three years working in Physics related research laboratories.

3. Assistant Registrar :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 15,600 to 39,1006/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Post Graduate with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade from a university/ Institute along with good academic record from High School onwards.

4. Security Officer :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 50,000/- Fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with 05 years relevant experience in the armed forces as commissioned officer with experience in handling security matters of a large Institute for minimum 02 years.

5. Jr. Technical Superintendent :
No of post : 07 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 9300 to 34800/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Engineering with 3 years experiences for engineering departments OR B.Sc. with 2 years experience for science department OR B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc./MCA/ equivalent (all in relevant fields)

6. Junior Engineer (Civil) :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 9300 to 34800/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years experience in estimation of Civil Engineering works, construction & maintenance of roads & RCC multi-storeyed buildings, water supply and knowledge of Auto CAD.

7. Jr. Superintendent :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 9300 to 34800/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree OR Bachelor degree with at least 03 years working experience in an educational institute / reputed organization.

8. Physical Training Instructor :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 9300 to 34800/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Physical Education with two yearsrelevant experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with five years of relevant experience.

9. PS to Director :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 9300 to 34800/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 4800/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3(three) years of working experience as PA/ PS in Government, Semi-Government, IIT / Reputed University, Technical/Autonomous Institutions etc.

10. Sr. Accountant :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/CA Inter with 3 yearsrelevant experience.

11. Jr. Assistant :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree with min 01 year relevant experience in establishment matters / legal / Purchase / Account / Audit / hospitality etc. and having working knowledge of computer office applications.

12. Jr. Mechanic :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering from a recognised University / institute with one year experience.

13. Jr. Attendant :
No of post : 05 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : 10th standard pass with three year hands-on experience in assisting running offices, classes, labs, hostel office, guest houses of Educational Institute of repute, assisting in other activities like holding meetings / serving etc.
