74th Aeronautical Engineers Course (AEC) Men & 46th Short Service Commission Course (SSC) Men and Women – Course commencing January 2009
Pre-Final Year Male Engineering Students for :
University Entry Scheme (UES) – 2009 Men – Course commencing July 2009
Qualification:
AEC (Electronics) : Be/B.Tech. in Electronics/ Telecomm/ Electrical/ Electrical Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science & Engineering or a combination of these subjects. OR Diploma in Elctornics of Madras Institute of Technology OR B.Tech. in Radio Physics and Electroncis/ Optics and Opto Electronics OR M.Sc.Degree in Physics (with Electronics) / Electronics/ Computer Science/ Computer application / MCA with Maths. Physics and Electronics and Radio Engineering with 60% & above.
For AEC (Mechanical) : B.E./ B.Tech. in Aeronautical/ Mechanical / Production/ Industrial Production or a combination of these subjects.

i qualify for the ground duty jobs in IAF but the only problem is i wear glasses. My father who is in the same branch says thats not a problem. I am preparing for SSb, could you please tell me if I am eligible?

sir, i have done 3 yrs. diploma in Computer from polytechnic, pursuing i am doing M.Sc.(Computer) from Kurukshetra University.

why dear,u can appear for it after passing out,coz they will ask for the marksheets during the EKT and SSB interview.concentrate on ur studies and score good marks, prepare well both physically and mentally(it is needed,even i hv cleared after 2 yrs try)u will definitely get selected, best of luck
I like to apply for the university entery scheme.I am doing my B.E computer science engineering 3rd year(5th semester).I have arrears in current semester, also i have confidence that i wil clear that in next semester.shall i apply for the UES..?
