1. Assistant Professors :
No of post : 16 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 42 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- Per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor. Provided, however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

2. Deputy Town Planner :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 42 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600 to 39,100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidate should have passed Degree in Regional/Town Planning from a recognised University / Institution or equivalent. Knowledge of Konkani. 02 years experience in a Planning or architectural office.

Fees/Application Fee:
Candidates should see the GPSC website for latest updated “Instructions”. Candidates shall note that the Application Fee is enhanced to Rs. 400/- for General Category Candidates and those for SC, ST, OBC, Physically Handicapped and Ex-serviceman, it is 50% of the Application Fee i.e. Rs. 200/-. Incomplete applications in any manner are liable to be rejected summarily by the Commission.
