Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, IGCAR, Applications are invited for appointment to the following posts : Scientific Assistant, Upper Division Clerk, Driver

1. Scientific Assistant-B :
No of post : 19 Posts (Civil-08, Architecture-01, Mechanical-04, Electrical -04, Industrial Safety-02)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 22 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : I. Diploma in Civil Engineering (Three years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks. II.Diploma in Architectural Engineering (Three years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks. III. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Three years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks. IV. Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Three years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks. V. B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks plus one year diploma / certificate course in Industrial Safety.

2. Upper Division Clerk :
No of post : 05 Posts (OBC-01; UR-04)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 22 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A degree in Arts, Science / Commerce of recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Desirable : Minimum speed of 30 words per minute in typewriting in English. Knowledge of computer data processing.

3. Driver (Ordinary Grade) :
No of post : 02 Posts (UR-02)Age Limit : Between 18 to 22 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Pass in SSC (Matriculation) or equivalent (ii) Must hold a clean and valid driving licence to drive heavy vehicle and three years experience in driving light vehicle/ heavy vehicle.

Main Dates :
i. Date of Written Examination 3rd week of November 2014.
ii. Date of Skill Test/Interview 2nd Week of December 2014.
iii. Last Date of Application Submission 30.09.2014.
