Kurukshetra University, KUK, Applications for the following posts are invited on the prescribed application form obtainable along with the prescribed qualifications and instructions, from the Manager, Printing & Publications, Kurukshetra University. 1. Dean of Colleges :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Master’s Degree with 50% marks from a recognized University. 2. Ph.D. or equivalent published work. 3. 20 years teaching experience in a recognized College/University out of which at least 10 years should be as Principal/Professor of a recognized College/University.

2. Chief Security Officer :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A retired Army Officer not below the rank of Major with a good record of service OR A retired Police Officer not below the rank of Superintendent of Police with a good record of service. Knowledge of Hindi is desirable.

3. Clerk :
No of Post : 10 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation in Ist division, OR Higher/Senior Secondary in IInd division, OR Intermediate in IInd division, OR 10+2(Vocational) in IInd division OR Graduate.  Each candidate must pass the competence Data Entry Test on computer at a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English.

4. Technical Assistant (Computer) :
No of Post : 09 posts,
Scale of Pay :Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 3200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Post B.Sc. Diploma in Computer Science and Applications 2. B.Sc. with Computer Science as one of the major subjects.

Self Finance Scheme :
a. Director :
No of Post : 01 post (University Institute of Engg. & Technology),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D publications and guiding Ph.D students is highly desirable. Minimum of 10 years experience in teaching / Research / Industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at the level of Professor OR Minimum of 13 years experience in teaching and / or Research and/ Or Industry. In case of research experience, good academic record and books/ research paper publication / IPR / patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee.

b. Clerk :
No of Post : 10 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month. Plus Spacial Pay Rs. 40/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation in Ist division, OR Higher/Senior Secondary in IInd division, OR Intermediate in IInd division, OR 10+2(Vocational) in IInd division OR Graduate. Each candidate must pass the competence Data Entry Test on computer at a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English.

c. Technical Assistant (Computer) :
No of Post : 04 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 3200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Post B.Sc. Diploma in Computer Science and Applications
2. B.Sc. with Computer Science as one of the major subjects.

d. Data Entry Operator :
No of Post : 17 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month. Plus Spacial Pay Rs. 40/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A graduate with Computer Science as one of the subjects at degree level, or other graduates possessing One Year Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized Institute, or any other qualification equivalent thereto. One must also pass a competence Data Entry Test on Computer at a minimum speed of 30 words per minute.
