Agricultual Scientists Recruitment Board, ASRB, Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for various scientific posts under different institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.

1. Director :
No of post : 01 post for Indian Institute of Vegtetable Research, Varanasi (UP),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 RGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 20.04.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Doctoral degree in Horticulture/Plant Breeding or Genetics/Agronomy/Plant Physiology including relevant basic sciences. At least 5 years experience as a Scientist.

2. Project Director :
No of post : 01 post for Directorate of Seeds Research, Mau (UP)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 RGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 20.04.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Doctoral degree in any branch of Agricultural Science preferably in Seed Technology/Plant Breeding & Genetics or related subject including relevant basic sciences. At least 5 years experience as a Scientist.

3. Joint Director :
No of post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 RGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 20.04.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Doctoral degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences including relevant basic sciences. At least 5 years experience as a Scientist.

4. Project Coordinator :
No of post : 03 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 RGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 20.04.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Doctoral degree in Agricultural Extension or related discipline including relevant basic sciences. At least 5 years experience as a Scientist.

5. Head of the Division (HoD) :
No of post : 29 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 RGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 20.04.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Doctoral degree in Entomology/Zoology/Agriculture Zoology based on Entomological Investigation of Agricultural importance including relevant basic sciences. At least 5 years experience as a Scientist.

6. Principal Scientist :
No of post : 05 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 RGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 20.04.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Doctoral degree in Horticulture with specialization in Floriculture/Floriculture and Landscaping/ Floriculture/ Ornamental Horticulture including relevant basic sciences. 10 years experience in research/teaching/extension education.

The closing date for receipt of filled in application at To the Agricultual Scientists Recruitment Board, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Krishi Anusandhan Bhawan-1, Pusa, New Delhi-110012, on or before 20.04.2011 and abroad/remote areas date is 05.05.2011.

Fees : Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of SECRETARY, ASRB payable at New Delhi (India). For the candidates abroad, the application fee should be accompanied with a crossed International Bank Draft for US $ 20 drawn in favour of SECRETARY, ASRB payable at New Delhi (India). However, the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women category are exempted.

Last Date of Application Submission : 20.04.2011 and abroad/remote areas date is 05.05.2011.
