Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC, In the year 1923, the British Government established a Public Service Commission to examine the salary structure of the Indian Civil Service. Applications are invited only through online mode from candidates professing Hindu Religion upto 17.01.2014 for direct recruitment to the vacancies in the following post included in Group-I B Services.

Assistant Commissioner :
No of post : 04 Posts (GT-1, BC-1, MBC/DC (W)*-1, SC-1)
Age Limit : Maximum Age should not have completed 37 for SC�s, SC(A)�s, STs�, MBC�s/DC�s, BC�s and DW�s of all Castes. And 32 years for �Others� i.e., candidates not belonging to SC�s, SC (A)�s, ST�s, MBC�s/DC�s and BC�s Candidates.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600 to 39,100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A degree in Arts or Science or Commerce OR Bachelor of Law of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant. Must have put in a service of not less than six years in the post of Executive Officer.
