Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. IOC, Applications are invited from Indian Nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the under mentioned posts at Haldia Refinery. Filling up of vacancies is solely at the discretion of the management based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for appointment, if vacancies are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates.
 
A. Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Production) : 35 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.5400-10850, Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc. (Phy., Chem/Industrial Chemistry & Maths) or 3 years Dip. in chemical Engg. One year experience in the operation of continuous chemical process plants in fertilizer/ Hydrocarbon sector. Age Limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 32 years as on 30.06.2009. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates for the posts reserved for them). Age relaxation applicable for Ex-Serviceman/PH as per Govt. directives.
B. Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (P&U) : 06 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.5400-10850, Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc. (Phy., Chem. & Maths.) or 3 years Dip. in Mechanical Engg. One year experience in Power Plant Operation (GT/Steam Turbine) including Raw/ DM Water Treatment Plant / Air Compressor handling. Age Limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 32 years as on 30.06.2009. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates for the posts reserved for them). Age relaxation applicable for Ex-Serviceman/PH as per Govt. directives.
C. Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Electrical) : 05 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.5400-10850, Essential Qualification & Experience : Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering. One year experience in maintenance and repair of electrical equipments used in chemical process plants in Fertilizer / Hydrocarbon Sector. Age Limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 32 years as on 30.06.2009. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates for the posts reserved for them). Age relaxation applicable for Ex-Serviceman/PH as per Govt. directives.
D. Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (F&S) : 03 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.5400-10850, Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc. with Phy., Chem & Maths) with Sub-Officer’s course from NFSC- Nagpur or any equivalent course of same duration with HMV Licence. Two years experience in Fire Service in Petroleum/Petrochemical/Fertilizer or other Industries.
Age Limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 32 years as on 30.06.2009. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates for the posts reserved for them). Age relaxation applicable for Ex-Serviceman/PH as per Govt. directives.
