Food Corporation of India, one of the largest Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Food Grain Management and allied activities, wishes to induct young and talented Category III personnel for manning posts in its Districts/Regional/Zonal establishments in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals who fulfill the prescribed qualification, experience and age etc. for the post indicated below: –

Essential Qualification & Experience: Degree in Science preferably in Agriculture.
Scale of Pay: 4820-110-5040-120-6600-125-6850-140-8530
Age Limit: 25 years
SELECTION PROCESS: The selection process consists of written test, group discussion and interview. The venue & schedule of written test will be intimated to individual applicants along with the admit card. The same will also be placed on the FCI’s website http://specialtest.in/fci

The written test will be in English only and in two parts. Part I will consist of 60 multiple choice question of the relevant technical discipline and Part II will consist of 60 multiple choice questions on general aptitude consisting of Reasoning, Data Analysis, Computer Awareness, General Awareness and Current Affairs. On qualifying the Written Test, GD & Interview will be held for short-listed candidates. It is essential to appear in every stage of the selection process.

How to apply for above post:
1. Examination fee for applying is Rs.300/-. Candidate should remit Rs 300/- by Demand Draft drawn in favor of Food Corporation of India, payable at Chennai.
2. Application fee is not required for SC, ST and PH candidates.
3. Employees of the Central/State Govt./Public Sector Undertakings should get their application routed through proper channel to reach on or before the last date prescribed. Direct applications shall not be entertained.
4. Application on the plain paper in the form appended below (type written/printed in English) completed in all respect, is to be sent in an envelop super scribed “Applications for the post (Name of the post applied for and category)”.The application should reach on or before 01-12-2009.
