Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Madras invites applications from Indian Nationals with an established record of independent, high quality research and commitment to teaching and research for faculty positions :
Assistant Professor :
Scale of pay : PB-3 Rs. 16500 to 39100 AGP Rs. 6000/- per month on completion of 3 years service as Assistant Professor, shall move to PB-4 with AGP Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with consistently good academic record throughout with at least 3 years industrial / research / teaching experience.
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 35 years.
Teaching and Research for faculty positions in Departments :
Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Engineering Design / Humanities & Social Sciences / Management Studies / Mathematics / Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgical & Materials Engineering / Ocean Engineering / Physics / Applied Mechanics / Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering / Chemistry.
