The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) established by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India is a premier Institute of Fashion Business Education with 15 Centres located at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kangra, Kannur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Rae Bareli, Shillong and Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur (to be opened in 2010). The Institute is having excellent facilities for Fashion Business Education and Research in Design, Management and Technology and is looking for personnel of high caliber and potential for the following Faculty Posts to be filled on regular and contract basis: –

Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 109 posts, It may increased or decreased at the discretion of NIFT.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidates Must be Graduates from a recognized university, with interdisciplinary orientation and hands on approach will be preferred. Outstanding professional experience and significant contributions in the field would be an added advantage to candidates.
Scale of Pay : PB 3 – Rs. 15600 to 39100 + 5400 (GP). Plus Other allowances as per Central Govt. Rules. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC & PHP is as per GOI Rules.
