Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, the Central Transmission Utility of the country and leading Navaratna PSU of Govt. of India, requires dynamic & talented personnel to join the Organization as DIPLOMA TRAINEE (ELECTRICAL), DIPLOMA TRAINEE (CIVIL), ASSISTANT (FINANCE &
ACCOUNTS) AND JUNIOR TECHNICIAN TRAINEE (ELECTRICAL) for its Northern Region-I Transmission System covering the states Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi and Telecom Division.

1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical) :
No of post : 20 posts (UR-11, SC-03, ST-02, OBC(NCL)-04, Horizontal Reservation:- PH(HH-PD)-01)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Technical Board / Institute with minimum 70% marks for General / OBC (NCL) candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Scale of Pay : i. In Training – Rs 16,500/- per month. ii. Induction Level/Emoluments – Rs. 16,000 to 35,500/- (IDA) in S-1 Grade.
Age Limit : Minimum age should be 18 years as on 15.03.2011. Reservation / Relaxation / Concessions to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen will be applicable as per Govt. of India guidelines.

2. Diploma Trainee (Civil) :
No of post : 08 posts (UR-04, SC-01, ST-01, OBC (NCL)-02, Horizontal Reservation:-PH (HH-PD-01)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Technical Board / Institute with minimum 70% marks for General / OBC (NCL) candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Scale of Pay : i. In Training – Rs 16,500/- per month. ii. Induction Level/Emoluments – Rs. 16,000 to 35,500/- (IDA) in S-1 Grade.
Age Limit : Minimum age should be 18 years as on 15.03.2011. Reservation / Relaxation / Concessions to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen will be applicable as per Govt. of India guidelines.

3. Assistant (Finance & Accounts) :
No of post : 04 posts (UR-01, SC-01, ST-01 (Backlog), OBC (NCL)-01, Horizontal Reservation:- PH (B-LV/HH-PD-01),
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Com with First Division for General / OBC (NCL) candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PH candidates. Additional qualification of M.Com shall be desirable.
Scale of Pay : Induction Level/Emoluments – Rs 12,500 to 27,500/- (IDA) in W-4 Grade.
Age Limit : Minimum age should be 18 years as on 15.03.2011. Reservation / Relaxation / Concessions to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen will be applicable as per Govt. of India guidelines.

4. Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) :
No of post : 65 posts (UR-33, SC-13 (2 Backlogs), ST=04, OBC (NCL)-15, Horizontal Reservation:- PH(OH-OL/HH-PD-03),
Essential Qualification & Experience : ITI (Electrical) Pass from a recognized Technical Board / Institute.
Scale of Pay : i. In Training – Rs 11,000/- per month. ii. Induction Level/Emoluments – Rs. 11,500 to 26,000/- (IDA) in S-1 Grade.
Age Limit : Minimum age should be 18 years as on 15.03.2011. Reservation / Relaxation / Concessions to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen will be applicable as per Govt. of India guidelines.
