The Indian Ordnance Factory Board, OFB, To the Ordnance Factory Board, POST BOX No. 12006, COSSIPORE, P.O. Kolkata – 700002, West Bengal.

The Indian Ordnance Factory Board, OFB, Application in the Prescribed Format is invited from Indian Citizen only for appointment of Charge man [Technical/Administration (stores/other than stores)] in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories, located all over India.
 
1. Chargeman : In [Technical/Administration (stores/other than stores)] DISCIPLINE :
i. Mechanical :
No of Post : (GENL-87, SC-30, ST-12, OBC-24, PH/PC-8),
Essential Qualification : Must posses three years Diploma or Equivalent qualifications from AICTE/ UGC approved Institutes, in the relevant Discipline.
Scale of Pay : pay band of Rs. 9300.00 to Rs.34800.00 and Grade Pay Rs. 4200.00 with other allowances as admissible.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years as on 07.06.2010. Age Relaxation For SC/ST Candidates up to 5 (Five) years. For OBC up to 3 (Three) years. For PH (PC) candidates up to 10 (Ten) years.

ii Electrical :
No of Post : (GENL-5, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-1),
Essential Qualification : Must posses three years Diploma or Equivalent qualifications from AICTE/ UGC approved Institutes, in the relevant Discipline.
Scale of Pay : pay band of Rs. 9300.00 to Rs.34800.00 and Grade Pay Rs. 4200.00 with other allowances as admissible.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years as on 07.06.2010. Age Relaxation For SC/ST Candidates up to 5 (Five) years. For OBC up to 3 (Three) years. For PH (PC) candidates up to 10 (Ten) years.

iii. Civil :
No of Post : (GENL-15, SC-1, OBC-1, PH/PC-1),
Essential Qualification : Must posses three years Diploma or Equivalent qualifications from AICTE/ UGC approved Institutes, in the relevant Discipline.
Scale of Pay : pay band of Rs. 9300.00 to Rs.34800.00 and Grade Pay Rs. 4200.00 with other allowances as admissible.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years as on 07.06.2010. Age Relaxation For SC/ST Candidates up to 5 (Five) years. For OBC up to 3 (Three) years. For PH (PC) candidates up to 10 (Ten) years.

iv. Clothing :
No of Post : (GENL-4),
Essential Qualification : B. Sc Degree with General Chemistry as one of the major subjects, OR , Three years Diploma OR equivalent qualification in the respective field from a AICTE/UGC recognized University/ Institute,
Scale of Pay : pay band of Rs. 9300.00 to Rs.34800.00 and Grade Pay Rs. 4200.00 with other allowances as admissible.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years as on 07.06.2010. Age Relaxation For SC/ST Candidates up to 5 (Five) years. For OBC up to 3 (Three) years. For PH (PC) candidates up to 10 (Ten) years.

v. Information Technology :
No of Post : (GENL-22, SC-4, ST-2, OBC-9, PH/PC-1),
Essential Qualification : B. Sc Degree with General Chemistry as one of the major subjects, OR , Three years Diploma OR equivalent qualification in the respective field from a AICTE/UGC recognized University/ Institute.
Scale of Pay : pay band of Rs. 9300.00 to Rs.34800.00 and Grade Pay Rs. 4200.00 with other allowances as admissible.

Scale of Pay : pay band of Rs. 9300.00 to Rs.34800.00 and Grade Pay Rs. 4200.00 with other allowances as admissible.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years as on 07.06.2010. Age Relaxation For SC/ST Candidates up to 5 (Five) years. For OBC up to 3 (Three) years. For PH (PC) candidates up to 10 (Ten) years.

viii. Administration Non Technical other than sotre :
No of Post : (GENL-6),
Essential Qualification : A Graduate Degree from a AICTE/UGC recognized University/ Institute.
Scale of Pay : pay band of Rs. 9300.00 to Rs.34800.00 and Grade Pay Rs. 4200.00 with other allowances as admissible.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years as on 07.06.2010. Age Relaxation For SC/ST Candidates up to 5 (Five) years. For OBC up to 3 (Three) years. For PH (PC) candidates up to 10 (Ten) years.

How to apply for above post :
Candidates should apply ‘on-line’ through Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) website : www.ofbindia.gov.in only from 08-05-2010 onwards. The complete filled-in ‘Acknowledgement’ along with the above enclosures, in an envelope superscripting with words (in capital letter) “RECRUITMENT OF CHARGEMAN” should be directly sent to the POST BOX No. 12006, COSSIPORE P.O. Kolkata – 700002, on or before 07.06.2010.

Fees : RS. 100/- BANK DRAFT ONLY in favour of ‘DGOF’ payable at Kolkata. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH(PC) are exempted from paying bank draft.

Last Date of Application Submission : ‘on-line’ from 08-05-2010 onwards. Last Date is 07.06.2010.
