UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSTS

1. Name of the Post: ONE CHIEF ENGINEER, GRADE II
Qualification: i) Matriculation passed from a recognized Board/University or equivalent. ii) Certificate of competency of MOT First class or Second Class Engineer(Motor) or certificate of competency as Engineer(Fishing Vessel) issued by the Mercantile Marine Department.

2. Name of the Post: ONE TECHNICAL OFFICER
Qualification:M.Sc degree in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/Chemistry of Foods and Drugs and Water from a recognized University or equivalent. OR Degree in Food Technology/Technical Chemistry of a recognized University or equivalent.

3.Name of the Post: ONE STATISTICAL INVESTIGATOR, GRADE – I
Qualification: Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics(with Statistics) or Economics(with Statistics) or Commerce(with Statistics) from a recognised University or equivalent.

4. Name of the Post: TWO ASSISTANT DIRECTORS
Qualification: Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics(with Statistics) or Economics(with Statistics) or Commerce(with Statistics) from a recognised University or equivalent.

PAY SCALE & CLASSIFICATION : (Figures in bracket at the end of the pay scale indicate the total emoluments excluding CCA and HRA at the minimum of the scale).

a) Rs.8000-275-13500(T.E. Rs.17640) Group ‘A’ Gazetted for the posts at S.No.4 above.
b) Rs.7450-225-11500(T.E. Rs.16427) Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted for the post at S. No. 1 above.
c) Rs.6500-200-10500(T.E. Rs.14333) Group ‘B’ Gazetted for the posts at S.Nos.2 & 3 above
