Public Service Commission U.P., Application System is applicable and the candidates may obtain O.M.R application forms from the Head Post Office of the Districts or from the Post Offices, a preliminary examination at various centres in the Districts mentioned in Appendix-1 of this advertisement for selecting suitable candidates for admission to the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (Main) Examination 2009.

Lower Subordinate Services:
No. of Vacancy: 300 approx. (The no. of vacancies may increase or decrease in exceptional circumstances)
Age Limit: 21-35 years as on 01.07.2009. Relaxable for reserved categories as per Govt. orders.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : The candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from any recognised University by the last date fixed for receipt of application. The candidates must mention it in prescribed column of O.M.R application. The candidates are also directed to mention their special qualification which are printed in the direction to fill up O.M.R. application form, so that their candidature may be considered for such posts if available.

How to apply for above post:
Application should be submitted on the prescribed OMR form. Application completed in all respects must reach the “Secretary, (Deptt No. A-2/E-1/2009) Public Service Commission, U.P., 10, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Allahabad-211018” at the Commission’s office either by registered post or by hand upto 5.00 p.m. on or before 29/05/2009.

Fees:
(a) The Fee shall be taken from every candidate with the cost of O.M.R. application form. The details are printed on the O.M.R. envelopes. No Fees has to be paid by the candidate through Treasury Challan or Bank Draft etc.
(b) The successful candidates for main Examination will be required to pay the fees for main examination also. The fee for General candidates, Other Backward Classes of U.P. and all candidates of other States will be Rs. 230/- and for Scheduled Caste of U.P., Scheduled Tribes of U.P. will be Rs.110/- only. Candidates under horizontal reservation PH of U.P. and DFF of U.P. and Ex-Army personnel will deposit their fees according to their main category. The fees shall be paid with the applicaton of Main Examination.
