The Department of Education in Social Sciences, DESS, is a constituent unit of the NCERT which is an autonomous. It is proposed to fill up the following posts on Contractual basis on consolidated monthly salary for a period of 7 months for ERIC Research Project titled ‘Assessment of Social Science and Commerce Textbooks and Teaching Learning Process’. post : Computer Typist, JPF

1. JPF :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not more than 30 years (five year Relaxation for females and SC/ST Candidates)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16,000/- NET Qualified. Rs. 14,000/- Non-net.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Second class (with at least 55% marks) Master Degree in any Social Science Subject / Education / Language. Knowledge of research methodology; Proficiency in Hindi and English. Proficiency in working on Computer.
Selection Procedure : Walk-in interview on 06 December, 2013 at 11:00 AM, in Room No. 14, IIIrd Floor, Janaki Ammal Khand, DESS NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016.

2. Computer Typist :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years Relaxation is permissible upto 5 year for SC/ST, 3 year for OBC, 10 years for Physically challenged persons and 3 year for Ex Serviceman.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9594/- Graduates. Rs. 8814/- 10+2 (12th Pass)
Essential Qualification & Experience : 12th Pass under the 10+2 pattern or equivalent examination from a recognized Central / State Board / Institution. Diploma in Computer Application.
Selection Procedure : The typing tests for computer typists of 5 minutes duration each (text and use of spread sheet in Excel) in English & Hindi will be on 06 December, 2013 at 10:00 AM. The interview for the selected candidates in typing test will be at 2:00 PM on 06 December, 2013 in Room No. 14, IIIrd Floor, Janaki Ammal Khand, DESS, NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi – 110016.

The interested candidates who fulfill the required eligibility conditions may attend the test / interview on the date and time mentioned above along with their bio-data, original mark sheets / certificates / experience etc. Candidates attending test / interviews will not be paid any TA/DA by the NCERT. Those who have already worked in the council as JPF for two years need not apply. The person selected should be prepared to join immediately.
