Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, BFUHS, Applications are invited on or before 17.9.2010 from the eligible candidates for filling up the following vacant posts in the University & GGS Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot, purely on contract basis.
 
1. Supervisor (Laundry) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Graduate in any stream from a recognized university
ii) Minimum 5 years experience in a big laundry.
Age Limit : The minimum age limit shall be 18 years. The applicant should not be above 37 years of age on the last date of receipt of application form. The upper age limit for an applicant belonging to SC/ST category shall be upto 42 years.
Scale of Pay : As per negotiation.

2. Laboratory Technician :
No of Post : 13 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized Board / University / Institution with Science (ii) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution.
Age Limit : The minimum age limit shall be 18 years. The applicant should not be above 37 years of age on the last date of receipt of application form. The upper age limit for an applicant belonging to SC/ST category shall be upto 42 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10,000/- with B.Sc. MLT qualification, Rs. 8,500/- with DMLT qualification.

3. Radiographer :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized Board / University / Institution with Science (ii) Diploma in Radiography from a recognized Institution.
(iii) Punjabi up to Matriculation level.
Age Limit : The minimum age limit shall be 18 years. The applicant should not be above 37 years of age on the last date of receipt of application form. The upper age limit for an applicant belonging to SC/ST category shall be upto 42 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10,000/- per month.

4. O.T.A :
No of Post : 07 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matric with Science /10+2 or its equivalent from recognized University/Institution with science. (ii) Diploma in O.T.A from a recognized Institution. (iii) Punjabi up to Matriculation level.
Age Limit : The minimum age limit shall be 18 years. The applicant should not be above 37 years of age on the last date of receipt of application form. The upper age limit for an applicant belonging to SC/ST category shall be upto 42 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8500/- per month.

5. Laboratory Attendant :
No of Post : 06 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matric with Science (Physics & Chemistry) from recognized Board/ University/ Institution (ii) Preference will be given to the candidates Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution. Punjabi up to Matriculation level.
Age Limit : The minimum age limit shall be 18 years. The applicant should not be above 37 years of age on the last date of receipt of application form. The upper age limit for an applicant belonging to SC/ST category shall be upto 42 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 6,000/- with DMLT qualification, Rs. 5,000/- with Matric qualification.
 
6. Refractionist (Ophthalmic Officer) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Should have passed Senior Secondary Part-II examination in Science with Biology as one of the subject or its equivalent from a recognizes university or institution and (ii) Should possess a diploma of Ophthalmic Assistant from a
recognizes university or institution.
Age Limit : The minimum age limit shall be 18 years. The applicant should not be above 37 years of age on the last date of receipt of application form. The upper age limit for an applicant belonging to SC/ST category shall be upto 42 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 13500/- per month.

7. Data Entry Operator :
No of Post : 30 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Graduate 2nd class in any stream from a recognized University (ii) Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University / Board.
Age Limit : The minimum age limit shall be 18 years. The applicant should not be above 37 years of age on the last date of receipt of application form. The upper age limit for an applicant belonging to SC/ST category shall be upto 42 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 6000/- per month.

8. Steno-typist :
No of Post : 06 posts (English-4, Punjabi-2)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate 2nd class in any stream with a speed of 80/40 WPM in English Shorthand/Typing & proficiency in Computers. Experienced persons will be preferred.
Age Limit : The minimum age limit shall be 18 years. The applicant should not be above 37 years of age on the last date of receipt of application form. The upper age limit for an applicant belonging to SC/ST category shall be upto 42 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 6500/- per month.
