Cochin Shipyard Limited, CSL, To meet requirements for the IAC and FPV Projects, Cochin Shipyard Limited, invites applications from the following categories of Tradesmen for appointment on contract basis as Fabrication / Outfit Assistants and Crane Operators (EOT Cranes). post : Fabrication Assistant, Out Fit Assistant, Crane Operator

1. Fabrication Assistant :
No of post : 186 Posts (Sheet Metal Worker-141, Welder-45)
Age Limit : Age shall not exceed 35 years as on 30 Nov 2013 relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14000 to 42000/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in the respective trade and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC). Minimum of three years post qualification (NAC) experience including training in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or two years work experience in a Shipyard or Engineering Company.

2. Out Fit Assistant :
No of post : 216 Posts (Fitter Pipe Plumber-111, Diesel Mechanic-29, Instrument Mechanic-11, Electrician-27, Electronic Mechanic-6, Shipwright Wood Carpenter-4, Painter-24)
Age Limit : Age shall not exceed 35 years as on 30 Nov 2013 relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14000 to 42000/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in the respective trade and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC). 3. Crane Operator :
No of post : 04 Posts (EOT Cranes-4)
Age Limit : Age shall not exceed 35 years as on 30 Nov 2013 relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14000 to 42000/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in the trade of Electrician / Electronic Mechanic and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC). Minimum of three years post qualification (NAC) experience including training in operating EOT cranes in a Shipyard or Engineering Company.
