National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, NABI, Mohali, is an autonomous R&D Institute under Government of India, Department of Biotechnology. The institute is a state of the art facility in globally competitive and translatable research areas at the interface of agricultural biotechnology, food processing and nutritional sciences. The campus is being established on 35 acres of land in Knowledge City, Sector-81, Mohali. It is currently operating from the above address in Mohali. The applications are invited from individuals with outstanding research record and enthusiasm to develop an organization with world class environment, the best of science, and partnerships with public and private sector. NABI needs staff of highest calibre and potential at various levels as shown below. The number of faculty positions is flexible. 1. Dean :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 55 years.
Scale of Pay : HAG Rs. 67000 to 79000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. thesis or the award of highest Master’s degree. Interest (evidenced by publications in high IF journals, patents of proven utility and, or products of applied value) relevant and critical to the following areas of research. Research Experience (in 15 years) after submission of PhD thesis or highest Master’s Degree.

2. Scientist ‘F’ :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- per month Grade Pay Rs. 8900/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. / Ph.D. (Engg.) / MD, M.Tech, ME, MBA, MBBS, B.Tech / Research Experience (in 10 years) after submission of PhD thesis or highest

3. Scientist ‘E’
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- per month Grade Pay Rs. 8700/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. / Ph.D. (Engg.) / MD, M.Tech, ME, MBA, MBBS, B.Tech / Research Experience (in 07 years) after submission of PhD thesis or highest

4. Scientist ‘D’
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- per month Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. / Ph.D. (Engg.) / MD, M.Tech, ME, MBA, MBBS, B.Tech / Research Experience (in 04 years) after submission of PhD thesis or highest

5. Scientist ‘C’
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- per month Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. / Ph.D. (Engg.) / MD, M.Tech, ME, MBA, MBBS, B.Tech / Research Experience (in 1 year) after submission of PhD thesis or highest
