Dean, Faculty of Agriculture
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Horticulture recognised by Kerala Agricultural University.

Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering
Qualification: Master’s degree in any branch of Agricultural Engineering recognised by Kerala Agricultural University with a minimum OGPA of 3.00/4.00 in the Trimester System or 8.00/10.00 in the Semester System or 55% of marks in the traditional system or their equivalent.

Dean, Faculty of Fisheries
Qualification: Master’s degree preferably in any branch of Fisheries recognised by Kerala Agricultural University with a minimum OGPA of 3.00/4.00 in the Trimester System or 8.00/10.00 in the Semester System or 55% of marks in the traditional system or their equivalent.

Director of Research
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture / Agricultural Engineering/Co-operation & Banking / Forestry / Veterinary & Animal Sciences / Fisheries   recognised by Kerala Agricultural University

Director of Extension
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture / Agricultural Engineering/Co-operation & Banking/Forestry/Veterinary & Animal Sciences / Fisheries   recognised by Kerala Agricultural University

For the post of Deans, Director of Research & Director of Extension , Scale of Pay of Deans of the Faculties, Director of Research & Director    of Extension shall be Rs. 16400-450-20900-500-22400 subject to revision from time to time by the University.

Associate Dean, College of Vety & Animal Sciences
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary & Animal Sciences recognized by Kerala Agricultural University.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-450-20900-500-22400

Associate Dean, College of Dairy Science & Technology
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy Science & Technology /Veterinary & Animal Science / Engineering (Mechanical/ Agricultural Engineering)
Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-450-20900-500-22400

Further details will be available from the information sheet. The filled in application along with the Demand Draft for Rs. 2000/-  (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates as per the list approved by the Government of Kerala) towards Application Fee drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Kerala Agricultural University, Vellanikkara payable at SBT, KAU Campus, Vellanikkara should reach the Registrar, Kerala Agricultural University, KAU P.O., Vellanikkara, Thrissur – 680 656 on or before 02.08.2008, 4.00 p.m. A self-addressed envelope of 23 x 10 cm size bearing postal stamp worth Rs.10/- should also be enclosed.  In case of candidates applying for different posts, separate applications and application fee should be submitted.  The envelope containing the application should be superscribed the Name of Post applied for.
