Applications are invited from candidates for induction of 25 DECK TRAINEE CADET OFFICERS under “All India Dredging Cadre Scheme”(AIDC). The candidates should be unmarried male Engineering graduates from any recognized university, should have flair to work in the sea and fulfill the following other requirements

No. of Vacancy: 25 posts (SC-3,ST-2,OBC-7UR-13)
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. (Electrical, Electronics, Civil & Instrumentation Engineering) with 60% marks in group only (Gen. & OBC) and 50% in group only (SC/ST) will only be considered for All India written examination

SELECTION CRITERIA
Candidates will be selected through a written test conducted on All India basis. Successful candidates in written test are required to undergo “SIGHT TEST” conducted by Mercantile Marine Department/D.G. Shipping approved Doctor. Candidates successful in the sight test, medical fitness test and swimming test only, will be eligible for personal interview/ final selection.
