Centre for DNA Fingerprintinh and Diagnostics, CDFD, is a premier autonomous R & D Institute under the Societies Act funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India. To fill up vacancies under Direct Recruitment basis in Scientific Cadres:
 
A. Scientist – B (C0de No.1):
Age Limit : Upper age limit 35 years,
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. in any branch of Life Science; or M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with three years’ research experience and with experience in basic molecular biology techniques.
Desirable qualifications : Experience in protein purification or cell signalling etc. with experience in research bioinformatics softwares as demonstrated by publications in peer reviewed Journals.
B. Scientist – B (Code No. 2):
Age Limit : Upper age limit 35 years,
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics or any branch of Life Sciences; or M.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / any branch of Life Science with three years’ research experience. Sound knowledge of different Operating Systems including Linux, programming with C, PERL.
Desirable qualifications : Working knowledge of different bioinformatics softwares, MATLAB etc., with experience in research as demonstrated by publications in peer reviewed Journals.
