Central Institute of Classical Tamil, CICT, Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Director, Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT), Chennai, [a fully funded autonomous body under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Essential Qualification & Experience : Doctorate Degree in Tamil or Linguistics (with Tamil background) from a recognrsed University or equivalent. Must have 18 years experience of teaching andlor Research in a recognised College/University including 05 years administrative experience in an educational institution.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 670001- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 100001/-,
Age Limit : Not exceeding 56 years.
