Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC, candidates professing Hindu Religion only for direct recruitment to the vacancies as an Director of Physical Education post for the years 2007-2009 in the following post:-

Director of Physical Education :
No of Post: 43 posts,
Scale of Pay: Rs.8000 to 13500,
Age Limit: A candiates should not less than 18 years of age at the time examination and not more than 35 years as on 01.07.2009. Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Administration Department.
Essential Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree in Physical Education (two years course) or Master’s degree in sports or an equivalent degree with at least 55 percent of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the University Grants commission 7 (Seven) points scale plus a consistently good academic records; State in National championships; Passed the Physical fitness test; NET or SLET or an accredited Test shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Director of Physical Education for those with Post Graduate Degree.
PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:- Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e.,
(i) Written Examination. 
(ii) Oral Test in the shape of an interview.
The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the candidates at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Candidate’s appearance both in the Written Examination and Oral Test is compulsory.
