Damodar Valley Corporation Limited, one of the premier power utilities in India engaged in Thermal / Hydel power generation, Transmission & Distribution with its Head Quarters in Kolkata invites applications for the posts of Junior Engineer GR.-II(Mech./Elec./C&I) from Indian citizens only for its various power projects / offices spread over across the state of West Bengal and Jharkhand. To fill up the following posts, DVC is looking for young and promising DIPLOMA ENGINEERs  having good academic record to join the organization as an Jr.Engineer:
 
A. Management Trainee (Personnel & Administration) :
No of Post : 23 posts (UR-11, OBC-6, SC-4, ST-2),
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs. 5650/-,
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years as on 01.07.2009.
B. Sr. Chemist Gr.III (Trainee) :
No of Post : 25 posts (UR-11, OBC-7, SC-4, ST-3),
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs. 5650/-,
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years as on 01.07.2009.
C. Safety Officer :
No of Post : 08 posts (UR-3, OBC-2, SC-2, ST-1),
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5650/-,
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years as on 01.07.2009.
D. Assistant cum Junior Translator (Hindi) :
No of Post : 03 posts (UR-1, OBC-1, SC-1),
Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2650/-,
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years as on 01.07.2009.
