Directorate General Border Security Force, BSF, Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for appointment to Group ‘B’ post of Sub Inspector /Junior Engineer (Civil and Electrical) in the Border Security Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
1. Sub Inspector /Junior Engineer (Civil) :
No of post : 18 posts (UR-5, OBC-7, SC-3, ST-3),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by Central / State Government.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years (relaxable by 5 years for Government Servants / Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribe and by three years for other Backward classes in accordance with instructions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time.)
2. Sub Inspector /Junior Engineer (Electrical) :
No of post : 13 posts (UR-2, OBC-6, SC-3, ST-2),
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years (relaxable by 5 years for Government Servants / Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribe and by three years for other Backward classes in accordance with instructions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time.)
