Public Service Commission, PSC, Applications in the prescribed format given below are invited from Indian Citizens and such other Nationals as are declared eligible by Government of India for recruitment to the under mentioned posts. All posts are temporary but likely to be permanent post : Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering.

A. Professor : In following Subjects.
No of post : 03 Posts (Mechanical Engineering-SC-1, Computer Science & Engineering-OBC-1, Electronics & Communication Engineering-UR-1)
Age Limit : Not more than 50 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to Rs. 67000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. and Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. Minimum 10 years teaching/ research / industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor OR Minimum of 13 years experience in teaching and / research and / industry.

2. Associate Professor : In following Subjects.
No of post : 05 Posts (Mechanical Engineering (UR-1, SC-1), Computer Science & Engineering-(OBC-1), Electronics & Communication Engineering (UR-1), Electrical Engineering-UR-1)
Age Limit : Not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to Rs. 67000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. and Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching/research/industry of which 2 years post Ph.D. experience is desirable.

3. Assistant Professor : In following Subjects.
No of post : 09 Posts (Mechanical Engineering-(UR-2, ST-1, PD-1), Computer Science & Engineering (SC-1), Electronics & Communication Engineering (UR-1), Electrical Engineering-UR-1, SC-1, PD-1)
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to Rs. 39100/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.

Applications should be sent strictly by registered or speed post or under certificate of posting to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700026 so as to reach him on or before 10.12.2013 of closing date. Application may also be submitted personally between 11-00 a.m. and 3-30 p.m. on all working days

Fees/Application Fee:
Candidates must enclose with the application a fee of Rs. 210/- only by Indian Postal Order and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata.

Last Date of Application Submission : On or before 10.12.2013 of closing date.
