Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, IOC, Applications are invited for the position of Engineers / Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) for those who are appearing in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineers (GATE) 2011 :

In the following engineering disciplines :
I. Chemical Engineering (Including Petrochemicals engineering)
II. Civil Engineering (excluding Construction/ Transportation engineering)
III. Electrical Engineering ( including Electrical & Electronics engineering but excluding Electrical & Communication/ Telecommunication engineering) IV. Instrumentation Engineering (Including Electronics & Instrumentation engineering but excluding Electronics & Communication engineering/ Telecommunication engineering)
V. Mechanical Engineering (excluding Production/ Manufacturing/ Industrial engineering)
VI. Metallurgical Engineering.

Engineers / Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) :
No of Post : 300 posts in the disciplines of Chemical / Civil / Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical / Matallurgical.
Scale of Pay : Candidates selected as GAEs for one-year apprenticeship training will be paid consolidated stipend Rs. 20000/- per month and Engineers/Officers Rs. 24900/- per month. Depends Upon successful completion of apprenticeship training, they may be appointed as engineers.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor of Engineering degree examinations with 65% marks (relaxation to pass class for SC/ST/PH)  from recognized Indian Universities / Institutes. Candidates currently in final year of their engineering studies may also apply.
Age Limit : Maximum 26 years as on 30th June, 2011. Relaxation as per rules.

How to apply for above post :
Applications Online only will receive of the candidates their GATE-2011 registration number printed on their admit card. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply in Indian Oil on-line between 10.01.2011 and 12.02.2011.

Last Date of Application Submission : On-line between 10.01.2011 and 12.02.2011.
