All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS, is one of the new AIIMS and apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training, the PMSSY planned to set up new AIIMS institutions in underserved areas of the country. The Director, AIIMS Raipur invites applications from Indian Nationals for recruitment to the faculty posts given as under: Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor

1. Professor :
No of post : 35 posts
Age Limit : 50 (Fifty) years. However, relaxable for Government Servants, SC, ST
or otherwise exceptionally qualified applicants up-to 5 years and 3 years in the case of Other Backward Class candidates. Upper age limit will be taken as on closing date of submission of applications.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band – 4 : Rs. 37400 to Rs. 67000/- per month with Grade Pay of Rs. 10500 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. And / or M.Ch. for surgical super-specialities and D.M . for Medical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

2. Additional Professor :
No of post : 18 posts
Age Limit : 50 (Fifty) years. However, relaxable for Government Servants, SC, ST
or otherwise exceptionally qualified applicants up-to 5 years and 3 years in the case of Other Backward Class candidates. Upper age limit will be taken as on closing date of submission of applications.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band – 4 : Rs. 37400 to Rs. 67000/- per month with Grade Pay of Rs. 9500 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. And / or M.Ch. for surgical super-specialities and D.M. for Medical super specialities. 10 years teaching and / or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

3. Associate Professor :
No of post : 36 posts
Age Limit : 50 (Fifty) years. However, relaxable for Government Servants, SC, ST
or otherwise exceptionally qualified applicants up-to 5 years and 3 years in the case of Other Backward Class candidates. Upper age limit will be taken as on closing date of submission of applications.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band – 4 : Rs. 37400 to Rs. 67000/- per month with Grade Pay of Rs. 9000 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. And / or M.Ch. for surgical super-specialities and D.M. for Medical super specialities. 06 years teaching and / or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

4. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 44 posts
Age Limit : 50 (Fifty) years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band – 4 : Rs. 15600 to Rs. 39100/- per month with Grade Pay of Rs. 8000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. And / or M.Ch. for surgical super-specialities and D.M. for Medical super specialities. 03 years teaching and / or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
