A.N. Sinha Institute of Social Studies, ANSISS, Advertisement for Faculty / Administrative positions, Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following posts as an Registrar, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor in Bihar.

1. Registrar :
No of post : 01 Post for UR only.
Age Limit : Retirement Age is 62 Year.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000, Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/- Plus other all allowances as per rules and regulations.
Essential Qualification & Experience : At least Second Class M. A. in Social Science subject and Seven years administrative experience in a Government or Public Sector Educational or Research Institution.

2. Professor :
No of post : 05 Posts in various subjects
Age Limit : Not Applicable.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37,400 to 67,000/- + AGP Rs. 10,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph. D. qualification in the relevant area and with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and / or research / policy papers in reputed publications or referred Journals.

3. Associate Professor :
No of post : 05 Posts in various subjects
Age Limit : Not Applicable.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37,400 to 67,000/- + AGP Rs. 9,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Good academic record with a Ph. D degree in the relevant area with special interest in development and change. At least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s degree level.

4. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 08 Posts in various subjects
Age Limit : Not Applicable.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600 to 39,100/- + AGP Rs. 6,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Holders of Ph. D. Degree as on the date of Notification of UGC Regulations. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the national Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC.
