1. Professor :
No of post : 02 posts in various subjects / disciplines.
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 50 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- AGP of Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline* and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and / Research / policy papers. 10 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Assistant Professor/ Extension Specialist and Senior Scientist/ Associate Professor including experience of guiding candidates for Research.
2. Associate Professor :
No of post : 08 posts in various subjects / disciplines.
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- AGP of Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline* and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and / Research / policy papers. 08 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Assistant Professor/ Extension Specialist and Senior Scientist/ Associate Professor including experience of guiding candidates for Research.
3. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 17 posts in various subjects / disciplines.
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- AGP of Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at Master’s Degree level in a concerned / allied / relevant disciplines from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
