Dayalbagh Educational Institute, DEI, is a Deemed University. Applications in the prescribed form are invited for the following Faculty posts in Agra :
I. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 11 posts (all reserve for SC) in different subjects.
Age Limit : As per UGC Guidelines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade or Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
II. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 04 posts (all reserve for ST) in different subjects.
Age Limit : As per UGC Guidelines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade or Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
III. Teaching Assistant (Mechanical Engineering) :
No of Post : 02 posts all reserve for SC.
Age Limit : As per UGC Guidelines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade or Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
IV. Associate Professor :
No of Post : 01 post (for OBC),
Age Limit : As per UGC Guidelines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering, & Technology and experience of eight years in teaching, research and / or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs. 9000/- per month.
V. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 18 posts (all reserve for OBC) in differen subjects.
Age Limit : As per UGC Guidelines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade or Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
VI. Professor :
No of Post : 01 post (UR),
Age Limit : As per UGC Guidelines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering, & Technology , and experience of ten years in teaching, research and / or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor Reader or equivalent grade.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- per month.
VII. Associate Professor :
No of Post : 01 post (UR),
Age Limit : As per UGC Guidelines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering, & Technology and experience of eight years in teaching, research and / or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs. 9000/- per month.
VIII. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 28 posts (UR) in various subjects,
Age Limit : As per UGC Guidelines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade or Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
IX. Teaching Assistant (Electrical Engineering) :
No of Post : 01 post (UR),
Age Limit : As per UGC Guidelines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade or Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
X. Senior Lecturer :
No of Post : 02 posts (UR),
Age Limit : As per UGC Guidelines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree with 55% marks in respective discipline of Engineering or Technology OR AMIE (India). (b) Eight year’s Professional or teaching experience out of which 5 years must be on the post of lecturer. Two years relaxation in experience for ME/M.Tech. Degree holders. (c) Knowledge of Hindi.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
How to apply for above post :
Applications complete in all respect alongwith enclosueres must reach the office of Registrar of the Institute Dayalbagh, Agra-282005, upto 05.02.2011.
Fees : Rs. 75/- each (Rs. 37.50 for reserved posts) for posts mentioned under sections (A) above and Rs. 30/- each (Rs. 15/- for reserved posts) for those under sections (B) above must reach the Registrar of the Institute latest by 05.02.2011. Saperate application shall be submitted for each post. Fee should be made either in cash at the counter or by Bank Draft in favour of Dayalbagh Educational Institute payable at Agra.
