Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences, IHBAS, Applications are invited from the Citizens of India for the following posts Apart from these vacancies, certain vacancies of  Sr. Residents of various discipline and Clinical Psychologist will also be filled up :
 
I. Professor (Psychiatry) : No of Post : 01 post (OBC), Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 50 years. Pay Scale : Rs. 18400 to 22400/-, Essential Qualification & Experience: 1. A Medical qualification included in the I or II scheduled or part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act of 1956. 2.A Postgraduate qualification eg. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. and /or 3.M.Ch. for surgical and D.M. for medical superspecialities or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Experience: 14 years teaching/research/ in a recognized Institution in the subject to speciality after obtaining the qualification degree of MD/MS or 12 years after obtaining M.Ch/D.M. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Out of which at least 3 years experience at Additional Professor level or 6 years at Associate Professor Level. Desirable: Research/published work in indexed Journals.
II. Professor (Radiology) : No of Post : 01 post (UR), Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 50 years. Pay Scale : Rs. 18400 to 22400/-, Essential Qualification & Experience: A Medical qualification included in the I or II scheduled or part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act of 1956. 2.A Postgraduate qualification eg. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. and /or 3.M.Ch. for surgical and D.M. for medical superspecialities or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Experience: 14 years teaching/research/ in a recognized Institution in the subject to speciality after obtaining the qualification degree of MD/MS or 12 years after obtaining M.Ch/D.M. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. III. Professor (Neuroanaesthesia) : No of Post : 01 post (UR), Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 50 years. Pay Scale : Rs. 1840 to 22400/-, Essential Qualification & Experience: A Medical qualification included in the I or II scheduled or part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act of 1956. 2. A Postgraduate qualification eg. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. and /or 3.M.Ch. for surgical and D.M. for medical superspecialities or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Experience: 14 years teaching/research/ in a recognized Institution in the subject to speciality after obtaining the qualification degree of MD/MS or 12 years after obtaining M.Ch/D.M. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Professor (Neurosurgery) : 01 post (UR), Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 50 years.  Pay Scale : Rs. 1840 to 22400/-, Essential Qualification & Experience: A Medical qualification included in the I or II scheduled or part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act of 1956. 2.A Postgraduate qualification eg. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. and /or 3.M.Ch. for surgical and D.M. for medical superspecialities or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Experience: 14 years teaching/research/ in a recognizedInstitution in the subject to speciality after obtaining the qualification degree of MD/MS or 12 years after obtaining M.Ch/D.M. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Out of which at least 3 years experience at Additional Professor level or 6 years at Associate Professor Level.
Desirable: Research/published work in indexed Journals.
VI. Professor (Psychiatric Social Work) : No of Post : 01 post (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.  1840 to 22400/-, Essential Qualification & Experience: Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master Degree in the discipline/allied subject. 2. A doctorate degree/Ph.D in the concerned discipline from recognized university. Experience : 14 years teaching/research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree. Out of which at least 3 years experience at Addl. Professor level or 6 years at Associate Professor level.
VII. Additional Professor (Psychiatry) : No of Post : 02 posts (UR-1, OBC-1), Pay Scale : Rs. 16400 to 20900/-, Essential Qualification & Experience: A Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act of 1956. 2.A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent-thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
VIII. dditional Professor (Neurosurgery) : No of Post : 01 post (UR), Pay Scale : Rs. 16400 to 20900/-, Essential Qualification & Experience: A Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act of 1956. 2.A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent-thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
IX. Additional Professor (Neuroanaesthesia) : No of Post : 01 post (UR), Pay Scale : Rs. 16400 to 20900/-, Essential Qualification & Experience: A Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act of 1956. 2.A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent-thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
X. Additional Professor (Clinical Psychology) : No of Post : 01 post (UR), Pay Scale : Rs. 16400 to 20900/-, Essential Qualification & Experience: 1.A post graduate qualification e.g. Master Degree in the discipline speciality or equivalent. 2. A doctorate degree like Ph.D in the concerned speciality from a recognized university or a recognized qualification equivalent.
XI. Additional Professor (Psychiatric Social Work) : 01 post (UR), Pay Scale : Rs. 16400 to 20900/-,

Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 50 years. Essential Qualification & Experience: 1.A post graduate qualification e.g. Master Degree in the discipline speciality or equivalent. 2. A doctorate degree like Ph.D in the concerned speciality from a recognized university or recognizedqualification equivalent.
XII.Associate Professor (Neurology) : 02 posts (UR-1, OBC-1), Pay Scale : Rs. 14300 to 18300/-, Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 45 years. Essential Qualification & Experience: A Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act of 1956. 2. A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS. 
XIII.Assistant Professor (Neurology) : 03 posts (OBC-2,SC-1), Pay Scale : Rs. 1162 to 15200/-, Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 45 years. Essential Qualification & Experience: A Medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or Part II of the III schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. (Candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the III Schedule.
XIV. Assistant Professor (Clinical Psychology) : 01 post (OBC-01), Pay Scale : Rs. 11625 to 15200/-, Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 45 years. Essential Qualification & Experience: Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master Degree in the discipline allied subject. 2.A doctorate degree/Ph.D of a recognized University.

Fees: Demand Draft of Rs.250/- in favour of Director, IHBAS. Candidates working in Govt./Autonomous body/ Statutory bodies shall submit the application through proper channel with Vigilance clearance and copy of ACR dossiers. For OBC candidates, the OBC certificate must have been issued by the competent authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
