Indian Institute of Plantation Management, IIPM, The Institute is seeking applications from the scholars and practitioners with outstanding research, academic, executive management education programmes and administrative expertise for IIPM Centre, Jorhat, on deputation or contractual basis for the following positions in the area of Human Resources Management, Production & Operations Management, Finance & Accounts and related management disciplines:
 
A. Associate Professor :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 plus grade pay Rs. 9500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic & professional record throughout and a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
 
B. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 plus grade pay  Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. in appropriate branch with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout and at least 3 years of teaching/research/ Industrial experience.

C. Lecturer :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 plus grade pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Appointment at this level may be made as Lecturer cum Post Doctoral Fellow on contract basis from out of young Ph.Ds to teach and earn experience.

D. Accounts-cum-Office Associate :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : pay band of Rs. 5200 to 20200 plus grade pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1) Degree of a recognized University. 2) Candidates from Central/State Government, Autonomous Organizations, Research Institutions, universities, Statutory Bodies holding analogous posts on 3 years regular service. 3) Responsible for all accounts and finance matters viz., preparation of monthly trial balances, annual accounts & balance-sheet, Budget matters, passing & payment of bills, TDS return, Income tax assessment, Bank reconciliation, Taxation and Accounting. 4) Thorough knowledge in Computer and Tally.
Age Limit : Below 35 years.

E. Professor :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 plus grade pay Rs. 10500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. in appropriate branch with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
