The Gautam Buddha University established by U.P.Act (9) of 2002 as passed by U.P. Legislature is sponsored by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, shall be having programmes of higher level learning in Humanities, Buddhist Studies, Management, Information and Communication Technology, Bio-Informatics, Environmental Studies, International Law, and in other emerging areas.
Qualifications:
Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional working in industry with established reputation, who has made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D. degree, could also be considered in exceptional cases. Publication of research papers in international journals is must for all the faculty applicants.
Research Associate: Post Graduate with 55% marks for Gen./OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates, in relevant discipline.
Experience :
Professor – Minimum 10 years Teaching / Research / Industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent.
Associate Professor – Minimum 8 years Teaching / Research / Industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Assistant Professor – At least three years Teaching / Research / Industrial Experience and minimum 03 research papers in National/International refereed Journals/Conferences.
Research Associate – At least one year Teaching/Research Experience at a recognized degree level institute at appropriate level and minimum 02 research papers in National/International refereed Journals/Conferences
Pay Scales:
Professor – 18,400-500-22,400
Associate Professor – 16,400-450-20,000
Assistant Professor – 12,000-420-18,300
Research Associate – 21,000-25,000 on consolidated
