NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY – NIT, APPLICATIONS FOR FACULTY POSITIONS IN VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, TIRUCHIRAPPALLI ARE INVITED FROM INDIAN NATIONALS, For the post of Professors, Assistant Professors, and Lecturer in the various Departments:
1. Professor : Scale of pay (Pre-revised) Rs.16400-450-20900-500-22400.
2. Assistant Professor : Scale of pay Rs.12000-420-18300
3. Lecturer: Scale of pay Rs.8000-275-13500 (advance increments for candidates with higher qualifications) In addition to the basic pay, allowances will be given as per Government of India norms.
Reservation: Reservation Policy for OBC/SC/ST/PC (for lecturer posts only). As per the Government of India norms.
