North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, NEIGRIHMS, Applications are invited on prescribed form by the Director, North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, from Indian Citizen for the following posts mentioned below.
 
1. Professor :
No of Post : 02 posts (02 UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.D. (Physiology)/MBBS with M.Sc. (Physiology) recognised by MCI, 04 years teaching experience as Associate Professor/Reader in the concerned speciality in a recognised Medical College/Teaching Institution.
Desirable: Minimum of four Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus/National Journal and one Research publication in International Journal.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 4 (Rs. 37400 to 67000) with the minimum pay of Rs. 51600/- and Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10500/- + NPA.
Age Limit : For Direct Recruitment not exceeding 50 years for the post of Professor.

2. Associate Professor :
No of Post : 01 post (01 UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.D. (Medicine/General Medicine) recognised by MCI,  As Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Medicine/General Medicine for 5 years in a recognised
Medical College.
Desirable: Minimum of four Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus/National Journal and one Research publication in International Journal.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 4 (Rs. 37400 to 67000) subject to minimum Pay being Rs. 42800/- and Academic Grade Pay Rs.9000/- + NPA.
Age Limit : For Direct Recruitment not exceeding 45 years for the post of Associate Professor.

3. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 05 posts (05 UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.D./M.S. (Anaesthesiology) recognised by the MCI, 3 years teaching experience in the subject in a recognised Medical College as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 3 (Rs. 15600 to 39100); minimum Pay to be fixed at Rs. 30000/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 8000/- + NPA. (Plus other allowances as admissible under Govt. of India Rules).
Age Limit : For Direct Recruitment not exceeding 45 years for the post of Assistant Professor.
