1. Professor :
No of post : 03 posts,
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Doctoral degree in the relevant subject. 2. At least 10 years experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree during service, subject to maximum of 3 years) in Research/Teaching/Extension Education, provided 5 years experience as Associate Professor (12000-18300, Pre-Revised) or an equivalent positions. 3. Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education as supported by published work in refereed journals/innovations. 4. Specialization & experience in the related field.

2. Associate Professor :
No of post : 07 posts,
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. degree with first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology with three years experience in Teaching/ Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent.

At least 05 years experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree during service, subject to maximum of 3 years) in Research / Teaching/Extension Education, provided 5 years experience as Associate Professor (12000-18300, Pre-Revised) or an equivalent positions. 3. Evidence of contribution to Research / Teaching / Extension Education as supported by published work in refereed journals/innovations.  4. Specialization & experience in the related field.

3. Programmer Coordinator :
No of post : 02 posts,
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Doctoral degree in the relevant subject. 2. At least 10 years experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree during service, subject to maximum of 3 years) in Research/Teaching/Extension Education, provided 5 years experience as Associate Professor (12000-18300, Pre-Revised) or an equivalent positions. 3. Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education as supported by published work in refereed journals/innovations. 4. Specialization & experience in the related field.

4. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 06 posts,
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 AGP Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Good academic record with atleast 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade at the master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or, an equivalent degree from a foreign University. 2. Candidates, must have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for Assistant Professor(s) and equivalent position, conducted by ASRB/U.G.C./C.S.I.R.
Desirable: Ph.D. in the relevant subject.

5. Subject Matter Specialist :
No of post : 05 posts,
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 AGP Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with first class in B.E./M.E. with 10 years experience of which 5 years should be of Associate Professor or its equivalent.

The duly filled downloaded application alongwith fees should reach to the Registrar, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur (Raj.)-313001, on or before 9th May, 2011. The envelop containing application should bear “Application for Teachers” on the Top.

Fees : Demand Draft payable to the Comptroller, MPUAT worth Rs. 1000/- for Professor/ Associate Professor/ Programme Coordinator and Rs. 500/- for Assistant Professor.
