National Institute of Financial Management, NIFM, a centre of Excellence in the Area of Public Financial Management established by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance invites applications from Indian citizens for faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor (SG), Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the area of Economics and Finance & Accounts. NIFM follows Central Government Rules in regard to Pay & Allowance and other service matters. Faculty at the Institute are also entitled to other benefits as decided by the Board of Governors including the privileges of sharing consultancy income which is shared between faculty and Institute according to its rules. The institute also has residential accommodation for faculty members which is allotted subject to availability.
 
1. Proessor :
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidates should have a doctoral degree. He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree (for economics discipline candidates having 55% marks at PG level are eligible) or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. He/she should have a minimum experience of 10 years in teaching /research /industry/professional out of which at least 5 years teaching. experience should be at the level of Associate Professor / Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 10000/- per month. 
Age Limit : Not exceeding 55 years.

2. Associate Professors :
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidates should have a doctoral degree. He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree (for economics discipline candidates having 55% marks at PG level are eligible) or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. He/she should have a minimum experience of 8 years in teaching/research/industry/professional out of which at least 4 years teaching experience should be at the level of Associate Professor / Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + GP Rs. 8700/- per month. 
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years.

3. Associate Professors :
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidates should have a doctoral degree. He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree (for economics discipline candidates having 55% marks at PG level are eligible) or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. He/she should have a minimum experience of 3 years in teaching/research/industry/professional out of which at least 3 years teaching experience should be at the level of Associate Professor / Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600  to  39100 + GP Rs. 7600/- per month. 
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years.

4. Assistant Professors :
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidates should have a doctoral degree. He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree (for economics discipline candidates having 55% marks at PG level are eligible) or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. He/she should have a minimum experience of 3 years in teaching /research / industry/professional out of which at least 3 years teaching experience should be at the level of Associate Professor / Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + GP Rs. 6600/- per month in the area of Finance & Accounts.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
