Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, NIMS, Applications are invited from the interested and eligible candidates for filling up the various Faculty posts in the following Departments.
 
1. Professor :
No of Post : 03 posts in various departments.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs. 10000 + Allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD/MS in the subject concerned. Fourteen years teaching and or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialities after obtaining the qualifying degree. Out of which four years as Associate Professor.

2. Additional Professor :
No of Post : 02 posts in various departments.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs. 8900 + Allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD/MS in the subject concerned. Ten years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialities after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. Out of which 4 years as Associate Professor.

3. Associate Professor :
No of Post : 06 posts in various departments.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs. 8700 + Allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD/MS in the subject concerned. Six years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized Experience Institution in the subject of specialties after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. Out of which 4 years as Assistant Professor.

4. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 15 posts in various departments.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6600 + Allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD/MS in the subject concerned. Three years teaching and / or research Experience in a recognised institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the MD/MS or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.

5. Senior Residents :
No of Post : 11 posts in various departments.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 18750/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- plus allowances per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : MD/MS/DM/M.Ch Qualifying degree of MD/MS/DM/M.Ch in the required specialty.
