The National Institute of Technology Meghalaya established in 2010, as an Institute of National Importance, by the  Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, started its academic activities in Shillong from July, 2012. The Institute invites applications in Prescribed Format from Indian Nationals for appointment on  permanent/ contract/ deputation basis, possessing consistently good academic record and requisite qualifications and experience, with commitment to work, passion for teaching & research and an inclination towards institutional development, for various faculty positions listed below.

Professor (ECE/CSE/EEE/Mech/Civil)
Scale of Pay : AGP:Rs. 10,000/-PB4
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph. D. and 1st Class at UG
& PG levels

Associate Professor (ECE/CSE/EEE/Mech/Civil)
Scale of Pay : AGP:Rs. 9,000/- PB4
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph. D. and 1st Class at UG
& PG levels

Assistant Professor(ECE/CSE/EEE/Mech/Civil/Maths/Physics/Chemistry)
Scale of Pay : AGP:8000/-, PB3/7000/-, PB3/Rs. 6000/-
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph. D. and 1st Class at UG
& PG levels
